Do DEI Right Honored with Two Book Awards
Winner of a BookFest Award and a Next Generation Independent Book Award
I am so excited to announce that my book, Do DEI Right: Cut Through The Noise and Create Lasting Results, has won two book awards!
The first award is from the BookFest Awards for outstanding nonfiction writing in business, leadership, and culture.
And the second one is from the Next Generation Independent Book Awards, the largest international book award for indie authors and publishers. I won for the social justice category here.
This is such an honor, especially in a time when it is hard to have honest conversations about DEI and how to create a meaningful, equitable experience in the workplace today.
The book is based on our proven, proprietary DEI Maturity Model, showing how any organization can integrate the principles of DEI - whether you call it that or not - into the DNA of their organizations. Companies centered on these principles cultivate more engaged, productive, and loyal employees while outperforming competitors in revenue, profitability, innovation, and market reach. This success stems from ensuring every individual feels seen, heard, and valued — not within a broken system assumed to be fair, but within one intentionally built to be equitable, which leads to a more dynamic and resilient organization.
